The MI4 Conference is specifically focused on understanding migration as a developmental, demographic, cultural, and political phenomenon. The focus is on contemporary forms of mobility, return migration, diaspora and transnational ties, immigration, integration, and the role of migration in shaping the labour market, social cohesion, and public policies. The aim of the conference is to connect scientific research, professional experience, and public policy perspectives in order to gain a better understanding of migration processes and their effects on Croatia, the region, and the wider European area.
